We Are East Texas is a program of the Texas Forest Trail Region, a heritage tourism organization serving 35 counties and promoting the historic places, landscapes, and traditions of East Texas. The Forest Trail is part of the Texas Heritage Trails Program of the Texas Historical Commission, supporting heritage tourism across Texas.
